Meet Livvy – Your New Best Friend in a Small, Fluffy Package!
Livvy is a sweet-natured, affectionate little lady with a big heart. This lovely girl is around 3 years old, stands at about 30cm to the shoulder, and weighs just under 7kg—perfect lapdog size! She’s already spayed, fully vaccinated (next due Jan 2026), and has passed all her health checks with flying colours.
Livvy is house-trained, crate-trained, and travels well in the car. She knows a range of commands including sit, down, “off,” “bed,” and “wait,” and has a good recall. She loves her daily walks and, while she can be a little unsure around larger dogs, she’s generally sociable and polite—especially with those she knows.
She’s currently living in a family home with children aged 10 and 14, and has shown she can be gentle and affectionate with children she knows well. She’s also great at being left home alone, settling quietly with no barking or destructive behaviour—making her an ideal companion for someone who works part-time or from home.
Livvy does need a calm, confident owner who can help her feel safe and secure, especially when new people visit the home. She’s shown some guarding behaviour and can be a little unsettled around unfamiliar faces, but we believe this is more to do with environment and handling than anything else—she’s a sensitive soul who’s likely picking up on anxiety around her. In the right setting, with patience and reassurance, we believe she will flourish.
She’s a bright, loyal little dog who loves her creature comforts—especially soft blankets and cushions—and just wants to feel settled and loved.
Livvy would suit a quieter, adult-only home (or one with older teens) and would likely do well as an only dog, or with a calm companion. She hasn’t lived with cats, and her interest in them is a bit too keen for comfort, so a cat-free home is best.
Livvy’s current family have made the difficult and selfless decision to ask for help rehoming her. There is no doubt that she has been very much loved, and this move is purely about ensuring she finds the environment where she can thrive.
If you can offer Livvy the reassurance and stability she needs, she’ll reward you tenfold with loyalty, cuddles, and companionship.
