Kia is a beautiful approx 2-3 year old, pondenco campanero.
She travelled to the UK from Spain at the beginning of July and after undergoing an assessment whilst in foster she is now ready to find her forever home!
Kia has a pet passport, is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated (booster due feb 2026) including rabies and has been fully tested prior to travelling to the UK (a copy of which will be provided).
Kia is a beautiful fun loving girl who has settled into her foster home very well.
She is great with people and good with older children - she is really not sure on very young children and can also be quite bouncy at times, so for this reason she will need a home with any children 12+ years and dog savvy. Although she does love everyone she will bark if someone is around that shouldn't be!
Kia is good with other dogs when introduced correctly, she can be noisy when playing and can be quite full on however, she will listen to other dogs if they tell her off.
she does have a prey drive and so cannot be rehomed with cats or small furries.
Kia is extremely well behaved when out on walks and walks to heel. She is completely non reactive to dogs/cats although sometimes may show an interest in cats but if told 'leave it' she will move on quickly. She is house trained, crate trained she can also be left alone for a few hours too.
Kia can be very excitable at times and this can manifest as jumping up, play growling, bouncing round and zoomies! Occasionally she can mouth although this is never hard.
In the home Kia is very calm although does love to play with toys.
She is very food motivated which helps to calm her down - squeeze cheese!
Kia would love a home with lots of space for her to run around and play and with someone who has experience with larger, excitable dogs.
