💔 Rescue Story
Zara came into rescue through no fault of her own and has handled change with quiet resilience. Despite upheaval, she has remained gentle, trusting and affectionate — a testament to her lovely temperament.
She is now safely settled with one of our most experienced foster carers, where she is recovering after her spay and preparing for the next stage of her life in comfort and stability.
🐾 More About Zara
Zara is an absolute cuddle-lover who thrives on human affection. She seeks closeness, enjoys attention, and forms strong bonds with her people. She travels beautifully in the car and is easy to live with, showing a calm and balanced presence indoors.
On walks, Zara is relaxed and polite. She ignores other dogs she passes and tolerate with calm, respectful dogs who do not push into her space. She does not seek canine companionship and is very clearly human-oriented, preferring interaction with her people over play with other dogs.
Zara still has a playful, youthful side and enjoys activity and shared adventures, making her a lovely companion for an active household that also values calm time and connection.
🏡 Ideal Home
Zara would suit a home where she can be part of daily life and included in activities, while also enjoying downtime and cuddles. She would be happiest either as an only dog or living with a calm, non-pushy dog who respects her space. An active family with older, dog-savvy children would be a great match for her playful yet gentle nature.
As with all husky-type dogs, Zara will need to remain on lead outdoors until a good recall built and requires a secure garden, as exploration comes naturally to her breed mix.
💞 Zara is healing, thriving, and quietly ready for a home that will love her as much as she loves in return. Foster-to-adopt and adoption enquiries are now welcome across England, subject to collection.
🩺 Health Information
Zara is spayed, microchipped and healthy. She has recovered well post-spay and has no ongoing medical concerns.
