Loki is looking for his new human(s) to take on his adventures with him and explore new places. Please note due to location we are more than willing to travel for the right potential home
Loki is castrated and is 7 years young border collie. His parents were working dogs and it shows with this clever boy. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, well collies never grow up and this boy is easy to train and teach new tricks.
Loki will not be rehomed with young children as he does not like their company. He loves adults and meeting new people and thinks everyone wants to be his friend. Loki also does not like cats and cannot be rehomed with them. He can be rehomed with another dog if they both get on, Loki gets on with most dogs amd loves playing zoomies with them and is well socialised. He is good around other animals, has good recall, will walk at heal and does not pull on the leed (unless he spots a cat before you tell him no).
Loki loves going for long walks and exploring new places. He loves swimming, playing with his ball or frisbee and enjoys agaility and will happily run beside his human while they are on a bike. His favourite thing to play with is shadows or running water/water coming from a hose, yes for a smart dog he is a bit daft but he always puts a smile on everyone's face.
His ideal home would be a single person/couple with no young children who enjoy going for long walks and who live somewhere rural or semi rural. You never have to worry about Loki running off on you, even if he spots an animal running he will stay with you. Loki can be left alone and the worst he will do is sleep on your bed and get hairs all over your pillow, I think he enjoys having peace and quiet to catch up on his sleep.
