Description
We are unfortunately deciding to rehome our recent 3 girls we have got. We have a one year old and are struggling to manage the smell, tried all the tricks and have had many rats before but really struggling this time round and unsure why.
So before we have really had much time with them we have to let them go and absolutely hate to say it.
The girls are very sweet and friendly-
Winnie - dumbo white with red eyes;
The best girl, she can’t see too well but is extremely playful and has a lovely temperament. She gets excited to see us every day and is great with our boy, her lack of sight doesn’t stop her from zooming around at all!
Willow - dumbo agouti Rex coat;
Absolute beautiful girl, she has come round to us but is still a little bit shy, takes a back seat but loves to investigate when snacks and play is involved. Very friendly but doesn’t love being handled a lot at the moment. She will need some more time and has taken us a good bit of time to get her to love us. Very sweet
Cleo - dumbo grey;
Very sweet girl, extremely out going and loves to play, very social and will always try and climb on your hand, always wants to see what’s going on!
All theee of these girls have been socialised very well, and been great with our boy! Very gentle and love licking and playing and all get on very well. Our one year old has food on his hands at all times, loves to shove his fingers through the bars and they just lick him, we’ve been very good with not giving them snacks or food through the bars etc.
They are mostly toilet trained and will go for a poo in their toilet, Willow sometimes doesn’t but she’s getting there!
Genuinely nothing bad to say about these girls except they are smelling up the place, and I wouldn’t mind but cannot get it under control no matter what we do. Will be sad to see them go.
We are asking for £150 to cover the costs of the cage and accessories, including another spare cage which brand new never used. The cage they are in at the minute has been used for around 3 weeks and is immaculate condition, very clean and no rust or bubbling.
We ask that they go to a home with a lot of love and time for them just as we have given them, ideally with a lot of experience with rats because willow still has a bit of a way to go to gain her confidence.
Do not want to see them moved on month to month, and feel horrendous enough as it is that we are rehoming them so soon. They are lovely girls and homes with children would also be good!
They came from a private breeders in Croydon, and we have owned loads of boys and girls before from these breeders, typically very healthy and have all lived long lives!
