Beautiful Turquoise green cheek conure looking for his forever home.
Unsure on sex but I say he and his name is Broxi.
He's nearly 2 years old (in January) he's tame but does still nip when playing,or climbing but this doesn't hurt. He's never drawn blood since I got him.
He can talk a little, hes learning as he's going. He doesn't swear thankfully. He usually says hello buddy or Broxi.
He does kisses aswell.
Selling due to not fault of his own. I'm going to be moving and unable to take him with me. I'm really heart broken about this but it would be cruel to take him with me.
£170 without cage or £250 included with toys.
Has large cage with play top and skirt around edge(currently both removed) lots of toys and spares to go with.
Cage is same design as one pictured but the larger size.
Ideally looking for someone who has had birds before as they do require specific things to keep them safe in the home environment. They also need alot of attention. Ideally with someone always home.and need to be let out the Cage every day for at least a few hours, but as long as possible. He will let you know when he wants out by screeching at you lol, but he is usually pretty quiet or happy playing with his toys.
He is okay with my small dogs but he does like to nibble on their fur so needs to be well supervised around other animals as he has no fear of them!
He will be wary of new people and show signs of aggression to start with as he thinks he runs the house. But after a short while he won't want to be off you.
I am unable to deliver him as I don't
sadly selling my conure Elmo. unfortunately as much research as we did as a family I just do not have the time to give him the care he needs. The breeder we got him off said he was hand reared and is super friendly but needs more training and time. he will step up onto a stick, fly to you all the time when he’s out of his cage he just wants to sit with you he never flys off he stays close by you all the time. he takes food from my hand and
let’s you tickle and rub him all over when he’s inside the cage but not sitting on my hand yet can still be slightly billy but not in an aggressive way more playful as he’s still young…I’m sure this will easily be done for someone with time and experience. He’s generally a quiet bird and is silent throughout the night 8-8. He loves a mixture of fruits and veg but apple is his favourite. The breeder said he thinks it’s a male but with birds you can never tell until DNA tested this has never mattered to our family so never had a DNA test. He isn’t talking yet as still young we thing he’s said tickle tickle a few times, we purchased Elmo in July and was told he was 6 months we want the best home for him. it’s been a hard sad decision to make as
