looking for a new home for my healthy and very active Razorback Musk Turtle (Sternotherus carinatus). Free gift of 4 bags of 40g turtle food. Production date: 2025.2.15. Shelf life: 24 months. Expiry date: 2027.2.15.
• Age: Around 2 years
• Gender: Not confirmed (check the photo I took for the tail of the ventral nail)
• Size: The back shell is 7.5 cm in length
• Shell colour: smooth Field-yellow stone colour
• Health: Excellent! Strong, active, and responsive. (It has been trained to eat food that floats on the surface, or to find food that sinks on its own). Very healthy!
• Care & Habitat: This turtle thrives in a tank with a good filtration system. Maintain the water temperature between 22-28°C for optimal health. Under the weather conditions in London, last year she/he had been in a state of hibernation without heating for a month in winter.
Temperament: Calm and easy to care for, this species is perfect for beginners or experienced keepers alike. They don’t require much space and are quite easygoing compared to other turtles.
Things to Consider:
• Sensitive to sudden changes in temperature, so stable conditions are a must.
