Description
Giant prickly sticky insect (aka Macleay's spectre, Extatosoma tiaratum) nymphs and adults available. Available in standard colours (beige, reddish brown, dark brown) and some rare colour varieties including Lichen morphs (lichen mimics = green with black speckles), Ghost morphs (very pale bluish green) and occasionally smoke grey.
Feeding well on bramble leaves. Variety of ages of nymphs available from 2nd instar to subadult. Also available are batches of fertilised eggs from mated pairs (likely to hatch in the next 1-3 months), and larger adult females (already laying eggs).
Easy to care for, beautiful and interesting species - large sexually dimorphic adults. Freshly-hatched nymphs are Australian red-headed black ant mimics. See care guides online e.g. phasmid study group PSG 9), lifespan average 18 months for females, 12 months for males.
