We have decided to reluctantly search for a new home for this lovely girl as we feel she would be better placed in a different type of home than we offer. Floss is not your average Border Collie, she is a timid but loving girl and she bonds well with her owner, she does not have the high drive many collies have she is much more of a lap dog!
Floss is not a fan of strangers or strange dogs and she can bark and lunge at them and so needs to be lead walked unless in dog parks or areas you are unlikely to meet anyone. She has been well socialised but still can feel intimidated and gets cross. Floss would therefore love a house with a garden so she can get off lead exercise and enrichment. Floss would love to be a companion to someone who is not at work all day and who has no young children as she can feel intimidated by them.
Floss is not a fan of toys or games of fetch but she loves being fussed and treats. Floss needs regular grooming but is very clean in the house, she is very chilled for a collie she prefers a sniffing walk rather than a power walk and she is not generally destructive.
She is KC reg with papers and in great health.
