Rescue Story
πΆ BRAX's life began in a home, surrounded by people who didn't knew how to care for a dog. He haven't been trained or socialised, everything is so new and overwhelming for him. Itβs been a big adjustment, and while his foster is helping him settle, itβs clear that this young soul needs someone to truly be his anchor and he will become amazing companion.
Foster Update
" Brax is a big strong boy with bags of potential. It's clear Brax has never been in a home or had any training or boundaries put in place. Therefore he is like a giant puppy, with no idea what is expected of him.
He is experiencing everything in the world for the first time and takes it all in his stride. He loves his ball and is learning how to bring it back and drop it when asked. Brax will go in a crate, but isn't happy about it. He barks a lot when we lock the crate and for a couple of minutes after but does settle down.
He will chew at anything and everything he can get hold of if left to his own devices - all usual puppy behaviours which with continued worked I'm sure won't be a long term problem.
Brax hasn't had any toilet accidents indoors so is toilet trained. He's eating really well, on Pure pet food. He needs an xperienced Shepherd owner and few months of good, consistent training - he is gonna be a fantastic dog! A home with no other dogs, no small animals and no young children would be best. Everything is just so much for him right now. He needs someone who is dedicated to making this boy their best friend.β
In only a week, BRAX has shown what a smart and responsive dog he is:
βHe already knows sit, down, come, out and heel! He travels well in the car, isnβt bothered by the muzzle, and is eating really well β three meals a day to get some weight on him.β
Detailed Information
πΆ BRAX is housetrained, crate-trained, and has no guarding issues. He enjoys structure, is food-motivated, and very eager to learn. But at the moment, the world feels overwhelming, and heβs most at ease in calm, quiet environments. He bonds deeply when handled with gentle leadership, and thrives on one-to-one connection.
Ideal Family
πΆ BRAX needs a peaceful home with no other pets and no young children. A person or couple with large breed experience would be ideal β someone patient, steady, and able to give him time to build trust. A secure garden would give him space to decompress and explore safely. He doesnβt need a busy life β he needs safety, understanding, and commitment.
This gentle lad doesnβt want the world β he just wants someone to lean on. With time, patience, and love, BRAX will blossom into a loyal, steady companion. For the right person, he will be everything.
Health Information
π©Ί BRAX is healthy, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
