Description

I’ve had Apollo now since he was 6 weeks old due to infection in his mother’s teets. Apollo is a cuddle fanatic, He thrives for attention , food , toys & long walks. Due to ourselves working full time jobs , we can’t provide the attention and time Apollo needs , He has minimum 2 walks a day , He’s fed twice a day with full meals , And occasionally gets peanut butter toast in the mornings , Apollo was originally bought as a support dog , this meaning that he doesn’t have much training , his recall is near to none, he can do his basics (sit paw lie down) His lead training was never done to a good standard as he gets very distracted and is simply too playful to want to listen. He needs a lot of work , Apollo runs the roost at his current house. He knows when feeding & walking time is due he’s very clever. Apollo also does have issues with “ resource guarding” his blanket his toys, food and other things not belonging to him as he is looking for attention at times this can be problematic. We’re so sad to be leaving him go but unfortunately dont have the time to provide for him anymore as his size and energy needs more attention. He’s a 3 year old (birthday 31st December 2022) Staffordshire bull terrier, but hes huge for his breed. He gets worm and flea treatment every month as well as droncit wormer every 3 months. But no health issues. He is one of the most loving dogs you could ever meet. He’s friendly towards other dogs & people , but may come across too big for a child while out walking. Apollo would be a fantastic addition to someone or a couple willing to take on such a great energised & playful dog as well as being willing to teach him and also guide him.
