Description

Please only enquire if you can offer a 5* loving home. Anyone that knows me knows that I love this bird so much. She is my best friend and we have a close bond. She is approx 16years old- I have her paperwork just not to hand. I've had her 10years+. She is tame/friendly (although shy with strangers). Will snuggle on the sofa all day. Knows lots of words and sounds (too many to list, probably 30ish) although I would say is a very quiet bird most of the time. Loves to dance. Happy to chill on top of her cage whilst you do the house work. Doesn't prefer men or women, she adores me and my husband just haa different relationships with us. We have family look after her whilst on holiday and she has always been lovely with them. She is a plucker (or was - very rarely does it now) but some feather follicles have been damaged and won't grow back and some have grown back red. She was an aviary bird but was bored and plucked before I got her. I think she is beautiful. Definitely a girl, layed eggs frequently whilst I was pregnant- hormones maybe?! Absolutely fine around them, infact she acts proud and likes you picking them up haha. Loves her healthy diet of pellets, seed and fruit & veg. And sitting in the garden getting some sun. Absolutely hates animals however! Will not fly to them or anything but would have a dogs nose if they poked it through her cage. Ive always managed as we have loads of pets including a dog. Apparently also doesn't like young children :( Reason for rehome is she is very jealous of my 1 year old child. She does tend to stay on top of her cage when she's out so is out the way but as my little girl is now running round she has managed to bite her when she stuck her finger in her cage. Obviously these birds can do a lot of damage and I can't risk it. She will come with her cage, travel carrier, food, toys.. basically whatever she has. Must be a brilliant home for this girl only. I'm in no rush for her to go and will be absolutely heartbroken. No home with young children** No home where you're planning to have children in the future as she'll be in the same position again. Thank you for reading.
