We're looking to find Ruby a new loving home. She's been with us since September and had a long break from work before recently being brought back into light hacking.
She's quite forward going but is such a sweetheart and will always wait for others when hacking in a group, but she can also hack out alone just fine. She doesn't spook and just has a look. She's been around cars, lorries, farm machinery, dogs and chickens and hasn't fussed a bit. We're also next to an airport and she pays no mind to any planes or helicopters flying over her.
She's lived out with a mixed herd since we've had her, but she is fine to catch and bring in. She loves attention and will stand perfectly for a groom, as well as the farrier.
In the past she's done some showing and has been a broodmare and had some lovely foals from what I've seen.
She's such a sweet lady (loves a scratch on the shoulders and behind her ears) and as much as I love her, I'm going to university soon and will no longer be able to give her the time and attention she needs.
Only issues we've found are that she's a bit wary of new people, and that she needs her vaccines restarting. She's also a little bit on the chubby side, but from what I know she's had a fair few foals, so we assume it's just a bit of baby belly.
She'd be ideal for anyone looking for a nice hacker going out a few days a week. She will not do any schooling, so no novices please. She's quite happy to just go out, with others or alone, front or back.
She also has a professionally fitted saddle and girth which can be purchased separately for £500.
No time wasters, novices, dealers or loans/payment plans please, I'm trying to get her somewhere soon so all can be settled before September.
She has also been put up for sale by me before on this site, but has now been re-advertised re-priced as we have put her back into work.
