Taco is a gorgeous male Syrian who arrived at the rescue 12/05. Taco is around 1 year old and spent the first year of his life with little to no interaction with his humans which has left him a little flighty and nervous around unexpected noises or movements.
As well as our usual rehoming requirements we have a few specific requests from a new home which we hope will help Taco have the best chance at settling with his new family.
* A barless enclosure
* A quiet area in the home for his enclosure to live - somewhere like a home office or spare bedroom where he can have lots of downtime without noises disturbing him.
*No children under 15 in the home.
We know this may be a lot to ask, but we promise Taco is worth it. Despite his start in life, he has become so engaging and interactive with us over the last month. He happily takes treats and lets us give him strokes while he eats them. Free roam time has been a game changer in his confidence and he will come on cue to the front of the enclosure to be lifted out for some playtime. He's very inquisitive and likes to come out of his burrow box to investigate when he hears you in the room.
In the right home we think Taco will continue to thrive and become the best companion to someone offering him the time and patience he needs to grow his confidence.
