Description
Incredibly sad rehoming of my Herman’s tortoise.
We have moved from a sheltered walled garden down south to a windy and cold garden. I’m finding it really hard and expensive to care for them.
female Herman’s tortoise.
Shelly is 22 years old. She has her cites certificate and she is microchipped. She has always had the very best of care. Correct uv lighting and calcium supplements. Hibernates every winter.
Shelby was gifted to me and will have to be gifted to her new owner as she has no cites certificate. I’ve owned her for 9 years. She was given to me as her owner knew I had a tortoise, she has not had the same life as Shelly. She lived in a vivarium under a red light. She has pyramiding of her shell and burns to the top of her shell, this is 9 year old damage that will always be there. But she if very happy and active. She has had proper care for the past nine years.
They can either go together or separate. But, the only way they will go is by proof of a good set up And knowledge both indoors and outdoors. I’m happy to help you do this and give any advice I can.
Shelby- to be gifted to the new owner
