We recently purchased this lovely quaker parrot and were told it was around 6 months old, however we have reason to believe it may be a little older, we have spoken to the breeder who has said that it is 6 months, however we're unsure and feel it is more than likely a little older than that for various reasons, however I have been working tirelessly to try and get the bird settled and semi tame which is working however he seems very scared when my house is busy (which is most of the time) so for this reason we feel he will be better in a calmer home where he can settle and be able to continue the training, the bird is fine when I put my hands in the cage to change food / water and clean the cage out, it isn't keen on coming out or being held however once it is with you it will settle down.
