Description

To apply to adopt Max please copy this link to your browser and complete the online application in order that we can call https://sdwildlifeanimalrescue.co.uk/adopt-here This is an online form that is very easy Max is a very loving boy. He was in a very loving family home but became anxious around small children and his owners felt that their environment wasn’t suitable for him. He has not shown any aggression and we have found he really likes older children , he is a very kind dog, but he didn’t enjoy life in a busy home. He is a really well behaved dog who is happy to settle down and lie by you in the house so long as he is getting the exercise that he needs He loves to go for a walk. He can pull to start but as he gets to know you this improves. He has been neutered. He is living in in a foster home. He is fully housetrained He is a very gentle dog, he is living with children age 10 plus in a calm home and his foster mum has said what a good boy he is. He would love a home with an active person or couple who wanted a loving companion to join them for walks. We are looking for a home where one family member at least is home most of the time He is very good with other dogs, we haven’t tested him with cats. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment. All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us. Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call. Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss him and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed. If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list. We treat each adoption on an individual basis We are a not for profit registered company providing services to the public sector. Please contact us for further information
