Description

Scout is a beautiful brown tabby with flashes of orange calico — a gentle, curious, and affectionate young cat who loves being part of whatever’s going on. She’s a happy, sociable wee soul who adores being brushed, gently stroked, and talked to (she’ll even roll onto her back to show her trust). When she wants your attention, she’ll give you a polite “double tap” — her own way of saying, excuse me, please! Snapshot Sex: Female Age: 2 years (born 27/08/23) Breed / Description: Brown tabby with orange calico spots Scout loves playtime and keeps herself entertained with an electronic mouse toy that zips around, treat balls, pom poms, and even games of hide-and-seek with her favorite chewy stick treats. She enjoys catnip teasing sticks for her teeth and will roll about in catnip for fun. Between play sessions, you’ll often find her perched by the window, watching birds and squirrels go by. She’s gentle and affectionate but can be a little shy around loud noises or unfamiliar voices — her first instinct is to hide, then she’ll peek out to see what’s happening once she feels safe. Scout is great with calm, respectful children and has a special bond with her owner’s 10-year-old grandson (she even lets him scratch her belly!). However, she’d prefer a home without unpredictable toddlers or dogs. Compatibility Scout is from a household with the following characteristics: - Noise / Traffic Level: Mostly quiet home with regular visitors - Children: Has lived comfortably around older children (around 10 years old); compatibility with younger children unknown. - Dogs: Is afraid of dogs. - Cats: Likes other cats. - Indoor/outdoor status: Is indoors only just now (possible compatibility with indoor / outdoor home) Note: Compatibility section is meant to give a general understanding of the pet’s comfort level with different aspects of a household but it is not a precise description of what his future home needs to look like. Love makes the home and assistance will be given to help adapt kitties to their new home environment. Adoption fee is sliding scale from £75 to £200 based on post code of adopter.
