💔 Rescue Story
🐶 Kurkuma and her friend Toffi were left behind in Kup’yansk when their people fled for safety. Once a home and family dog, she suddenly found herself alone in a town that is now half-occupied and reduced to rubble. Rescuers evacuated her to safety, saving her from a silent fate among ruins. Despite all she’s endured, she has kept her gentle, trusting nature intact.
🐶 Kurkuma is a wonderfully balanced dog. She loves her people dearly and is happiest by their side, yet in the home she is calm, polite, and never demanding. With strangers, she may freeze and watch quietly at first, but within short time her cautious curiosity softens into trust.
🐶 Kurkuma adores long walks, where she can take in the world at her own pace, and she enjoys the company of other dogs. A companion dog would help her confidence as she adjusts to her new life. With cats, she shows curiosity, sometimes trying to follow if they run, but never with aggression – just a wish to meet.
🏡 Ideal Family
🐶 Kurkuma would flourish in a loving, calm household, ideally with another friendly dog to show her the ropes. She would be happiest with a family who enjoys long walks and quiet evenings, and who will give her patience in those first shy moments. Gentle, dog-savvy children 10+ could be a good match for her sensitive nature.
