Description
🐾 Meet Eric & Ernie - Bonded Brothers Looking for Their Forever Home (or Forever Foster) 🐾
Date of Birth: 5 October 2018
Medium-sized boys: Eric ~ 15kg, Ernie ~ 20kg
Gentle-hearted, affectionate, and deeply bonded, Eric and Ernie are two sweet six-year-old brothers who are looking for a special home where they can stay together - either through adoption, or under our Forever Foster Initiative, where we continue to cover all food and medical costs.
These boys are a matching pair in both looks and personality - kind, loving, and loyal souls who simply want a calm, safe place where they can be cherished. They adore people, with a special love for cuddles and companionship.
Ernie is the more timid of the two and finds comfort and confidence in Eric’s calm presence. Eric gently leads the way, helping Ernie navigate new situations and giving him the courage to explore the world. Together, they are a beautifully balanced duo - Ernie’s vulnerability met with Eric’s steady reassurance.
They walk nicely on the lead, are friendly when meeting people and dogs out and about.
They are both well-suited to a peaceful, rural or semi-rural home with a secure garden. A home with dog-savvy children would be fine, as would a family with someone home most of the day - they are true companions who thrive on human company and routine.
As part of our holistic rescue ethos, both boys are raw fed, and this will be continued in any adoptive or forever foster home (we will offer guidance and support if this is new to you).
💛 Forever Foster Option
We understand that the commitment of adopting two dogs can feel daunting, so we also offer the option for these brothers to be Forever Fostered together. That means you provide the love and home, and we’ll cover all food and medical expenses for life.
In summary:
Eric and Ernie are two sweet, gentle souls who have weathered life’s storms side by side. Together, they are greater than the sum of their parts. All they need now is someone with a quiet space in their home, and heart, to welcome them in.
