Unfortunately we have come to the decision to rehome our boy, he’s very high anergy and we cannot keep up with his needs. We have one small child at home and another on the way although he is absolutely brilliant with the baby its cuts are time down on him. He’s also started to hump are other dog who he has lived with his whole life. To the point he’s refusing to leave the house and just wants to lie on his bed, I’ve had our dog trainer in and had Ralph in the vets for this problem but nobody has the answers to why he is doing this. We’ve tried separating them but it doesn’t work in our household. Over the last few months he’s also started to go to the toilet in our house, no matter what we do he always come back in to do his business. We’ve had help with this issue but we’ve been advised he’s trying to mark his territory against my other dog. We can keep up with this due to have children in the home it’s not fair. We also can’t let him treat our older dog the way he does it’s not fair on him. We are absolutely devastated. Ralph has been an absolute pleasure to have until about 12 months ago when things started to go wrong. We’ve worked with him paid for extra training but nothing works. He needs a home with no other dogs and somebody that love being out with him as much as possible. Ralph’s been in trainings since he was a pup so he recall is amazing. He absolutely love playing ball and would have you doing it all day if it was possible. Ralph would rather be off lead on a field than walked around the block. Hes brilliant in the car. And he absolutely loves dinner time, goes crazy! Overall he’s such a loving little boy that loves to sleep in the corner of your sofa and lick you to death. But unfortunately our house hold is not the right fit for him. It’s took me a very long time to do this, but I have to put my children and my older lab first.
