12’1 rising 6 gelding drafted as a foal - Moorland Scrumpy
Backed this year green and needs more miles - but a great project for someone. Since we’ve had him he’s been good to hack alone or in company. Has hunted a couple of times, been to the forest, arena hires and he’s been brilliant. Loads and travels well.
He stands for the farrier perfectly and has just had a trim.
He can be a bit opinionated and dominant in the herd if allowed to be and needs a firmer hand to handle sometimes especially around food - but I think this is because he hasn’t had much groundwork or training due to previous owners ill health - he is super sweet once he knows you but sadly needs more time and work than we first thought and my daughter sadly hasn’t got time as has others. So this is honest ad although he is ready to go with riding he does need some ground work 121 training.
Sold from field as a project as have no riding facilities currently.
