Genie is a 6 year old Welsh Sheepdog who we adopted when 1 year old. She came from an unsettled past home but quickly adapted to our way of life and became a part of our family. We have learnt that she came from Northern Ireland though have very little history.
Since taking her on our careers have changed paths and we have had two children, now 4 and 1.
This means that Genie could really so with a family who can offer some 1:1 attention and take her on some adventure walks as due to no fault of her own, she does not get the time and attention she deserves.
She is amazing with children. She tolerates other dogs but would rather be the centre of attention and live with a mature couple without any other pets in the home.
Genie loves meeting new people, she will give plenty of fuss as much as she likes to receive it!
Over the last 5 years we have ensured that she’s had the best training. From early on she has been taught a range of commands and has spent time with other dogs in a controlled environment in a daycare setting. She is fully housetrained and reacts to several commands without hesitation.
She walks on a slip-lead and has very good recall. Genie is one to make you proud and I guarantee you will not want to leave without her.
Due to her background, she does still find certain things difficult such as noises from door knocks, aerosols, the hoover etc. She is genuinely no harm and it you’re tolerant then this will not be a problem for you - but want to be transparent in the advert.

We don’t want any money for her, just a home that can give her everything she’s possibly want and need. Please disregard the as price.
