Description

Staffordshire Bull Terrier x French Bulldog champagne merle female named Honey. - not spayed - vaccinations up to date - wormed & flea treated Honey is up for sale for the right buyer, who has the space and time to train her. She is lovely with children and great with people in general. Honey’s had a lovely start to life, we do genuinely love her so much and are not willing to just give her to anyone. However, we have realised that she isn’t able to fit into our life anymore which is absolutely heartbreaking. We’ve put it off (in the hope that someone we know is able to have her), but it’s just got to that point where I have forced myself to create this ad with the heaviest of hearts. Honey would be able to live in a home with children, cats and other dogs! She loves to play and would benefit from friends! In regards to training, a recall exists but can be difficult to call her back if she’s fixated on something she wants which could be anything from another dog to a leaf. We prefer to have her on a long line to ensure we have control just in case. She knows sit, stay, lay down, crate, look, paw (and ‘sock’). As she gets older, we have noticed a massive improvement on her recall, but would obviously advise to proceed with caution initially. When it comes to livestock, she is also very well behaved. She has been around cows which lived in front of the house we lived in when she was a pup. She’s also happily said hello to horses and sheep in a very respectful way. As mentioned above, she is crate trained and will go to/inside her crate if asked to do so. If you leave the crate door closed while waiting for her to come to you, she will sit and wait, look up at you, and wait for the release before going into her crate. She’s very happy to do all of this because she loves her safe space inside her crate. She will sleep through the whole entire night in her crate and will need to be woken up by us, it’s never the other way around! I’m thinking I would ideally love someone to take Honey who enjoys training their dogs, enjoys walks, is outdoorsy and someone who would like to stay in touch! We do have another dog and it would be lovely for them to still see each other - maybe go on some pretty walks together! Genuinely, I just want someone to take her who will love her and take care of her; someone who will appreciate the dog that they have! If you’re out there, please get in touch, ask any questions you may have, and let’s arrange a meet-up!✨
