Rodney is a 14h tradional Cob gelding very pretty old fashioned sort, beautifully marked, heavy with good bone. He is very nearly 17.
In the stable he is not very happy but out of the stable much calmer and doesnt show the signs of nervousness therefore he would suit someone who could offer all year turnout.
We have only owned Rodney for a very short period of time as he is extremely nervous and needs a home that can dedicate the time to building his trust. He must go to a home who are experienced and patient to bring him on.
He was sold as a family riding pony however he cannot be sold to someone with children as he is jumpy and this is worse when children are near him. Rodney has not been ridden in his time with us but do have a video from previous owner of him being ridden that can be viewed.
He has been vet checked and no issues medically noticed.
With time and patience I believe in the right home Rodney would become a very loving boy but he needs time to settle and a calm environment where he can take his time to build trust.
He has come to us under weight so would benefit from gaining which is what we are currently doing with him.
