🌿 Meet Coco 🌿
Coco is a calm, gentle girl with a peaceful soul. She is 5 years old, a medium size at around 17kg and currently living in the Oxford area. Coco is happiest when life moves at a steady pace and when she’s surrounded by people she knows and trusts. Most of the time she’s relaxed, mild-mannered and contented — the kind of dog who quietly brightens a home simply by being there.
Coco isn’t a high-energy whirlwind, but she does have her playful moments. Every now and then she’ll go racing joyfully around the garden, showing her happy, carefree side! She loves lying in the sunshine, running through the woods and chasing squirrels — it’s her favourite game!
She is beautifully behaved in the house: clean, quiet and polite at mealtimes. She never guards her food and always eats with lovely manners. She sleeps soundly through the night and is happy travelling in a car.
Coco is good with other dogs and greets them in a friendly, calm way. If they’re not so friendly, she simply walks away — she’s a peace-lover, not a fighter. She’s also gentle and polite with people. When meeting strangers she’s a little shy at first, preferring to approach in her own time for a quick sniff and then happily potter off again. Once she knows you, her affection shines through — she adores her people and will greet you with the biggest smile and a happy little jump when you come home.
Coco enjoys her countryside walks. She has excellent recall and walks beautifully off-lead in quiet areas she knows well. In busier places like towns, she can become stressed and would much rather avoid noisy or crowded environments.
She has learned to live peacefully around chickens and horses, though she still finds chasing squirrels and the occasional cat quite irresistible!
Her current carer has worked patiently and lovingly to help her feel more secure, and Coco can now be left for about an hour. Continued gentle training and a patient approach will help her confidence grow.
Coco would enjoy a home in a quiet area — ideally with a couple or a small family where at least one person is usually around. She bonds closely with her people, so perhaps a home with two carers to share her love and reassurance would suit her best. She may also do well sharing with a calm older dog.
In the right environment, Coco will be the most loyal, affectionate companion — calm, loving and full of quiet joy. She truly deserves a peaceful home and the chance to feel safe and adored every day.
