LILY- in the UK in SURREY
Lily flew to the UK a few months ago and has really settled well but unfortunately due to her adopters personal situation Lily is looking for a new forever home.
Lily is a 6 month old Segugio Italiano Hound Cross. She weights 18kg and fully grown will be approxamitly 25kg.
This is what Steve says about Lily....
Lily is a fit strong athletic dog that requires plenty of exercise. She is best on country walks off of a lead. She will go off scenting in the bushes but always returns to the path and has never strayed far from me. She will also be happy with a day off basking in the sun, pottering around the garden with you or hiding from the rain.
She loves her bed and when she has had enough she will take herself to it. She is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle up to you in the evenings. She sleeps soundly all night in the other room.
She is friendly and always gets on with other dogs. She will live well with other dogs but is also loyal and devoted to her master and would do well as a sole companion.
She was rather unsure about other dogs when I first got her and would bark as she approached them as though she is announcing herself. She now does not do this off of a lead but is still unsure on a lead and will often bark at other dogs individual barks but with good leadership she will grow beyond this.
She is eager to please and responsive to training. She knows her name and will come when called.
She loves her food, now eats slower and has better manners at mealtimes, but if eating with another dog she will require supervision to start with.
