This is with such a massive heavy heart and one I really really wish I didnt have to do.
Long story and happy to answer any questions and I will state now, she wont just be going to anyone!
Meet Zara aka Zaza. She is a 1 year old(18th oct 2024 born) cane corso cross presa canario beautiful funny pup.
I got zara as a play friend for my nearly 3yr old female cane corso end of January 2025, sold and told full cane corso. I found out only about 3m ago that she is in fact half presa canario which if I knew that from the start,I wouldn't have got her.
Zara has been socialised from day 1 on a daily with other dogs of all sizes,people and children, grown in a household with 3 children(8-11-13) and was always so good with kids and people.
Started off that she was getting jealous when out towards other dogs when her sister played with other dogs. But recently the last month or so, shes now becoming aggressive on a daily towards her big sister who wont even fight back. Whenever her sister now plays with other dogs, zara will go for other dogs and her sister. Now outside isn't an issue to be dealt with because she now has a muzzle and stays on lead but its affecting inside the house with her attacking her sister for no reason at all and shes now started snapping at my youngest and oldest kids just from them going up to say hi and stroke her.
Its such a weird and horrible way shes gone because shes super loving with the kids and hates being separated from her sister but yet keeps attacking.
Shes a very funny dog, from day 1 has been a hilarious talker, back chats, smacks with her paw to back chat lol shes literally just like a kid.
Zara needs a home with no kids or other animals especially cats!
She is good off the lead and I do think her not having her sister there to get jealous she would be grand with other dogs minus smaller ones as its like shes a bully despite being around a chihuahua at home who she doesnt even bother with. Shes never outside directly via mouth contacted another dog though, snaps and aggressively barks whilst bouncing at them to which when shes started and ive raised my voice she stops immediately and walks away.
Shes a biter when playing as thats what she constantly does out with her sister, literally just hangs off her neck/collar. Doesnt hurt as shes playing. She doesnt like sharing toys she will take off her sister which I do take back and tell her no and she will then lay down and sulk waiting for it to be left alone that its ok for her to then have.
I know with the right home she will be fantastic like she is but for the safety of my kids and other corso, she needs to go elsewhere.
I honestly love this dog with everything I have i really do and is really hard to give her up.
