THE BOY
We have a gorgeous cream Standard Poodle boy still waiting for his forever home, and he really is something special.
He’s that perfect “middle” puppy — he doesn’t push himself forward, but he’s not shy either.
He has a very gentle nature, always happy to be picked up and carried around, and he melts into your arms when you cuddle him.
He often falls asleep on our laps, completely relaxed, which says a lot about how trusting and content he is.
At playtime he’s full of fun, he loves chasing toys, bouncing around with his brothers and sisters, and he’s even found his little bark, which he uses to join in with the excitement. But when playtime is over, he’s equally happy to settle down quietly and watch the world go by.
He has a beautiful cream coat with a smart black nose, and already he’s got that “poodle elegance” in the way he carries himself.
His temperament is wonderfully balanced, affectionate, playful, but never over the top.
I can imagine him growing into a very loyal family companion, the kind of dog who will be just as happy going on adventures as he will be curling up next to you at the end of the day.
THE GIRL
Alongside him, we also have our stunning red girl, wearing her purple collar. She has the same very easy-going nature, gentle, affectionate, and playful without being too boisterous. She absolutely loves to be cuddled, enjoys snoozing on laps, and happily joins in with games with her siblings.
She has the perfect balance of calm and fun, and she’s such a pretty girl too, with her rich red coat that really makes her stand out.
She has a soft, sweet expression and a lovely way of looking at you that makes you want to scoop her up for another cuddle.
Both of these puppies have that special temperament that makes them so easy to live with. They’re confident but not pushy, playful but not wild, affectionate but not clingy. They’ve been handled daily by children, are growing up around cats and other dogs, and they’re already showing the qualities that will make them wonderful companions for the right families.
All the puppies are growing really well and putting on weight every day. They live in our busy home and are used to all the normal noises like the hoover, washing machine and children playing. My children, both teens and younger, handle them daily, so they’re very used to cuddles, playtime, and gentle hands.
Because I’m a professional groomer, our pups are introduced to baths, dryers and gentle handling from the start. This is so important for poodles, as grooming will be a big part of their lives. Many puppies from other breeders only meet a brush for the first time once they’ve gone to new homes, but mine already know that being washed, dried and handled is a normal, safe part of life. This makes things much easier for both the puppies and their new families.
They’re eating well, learning to enjoy solid food both wet and dry, and their teeth are already through. Toilet training is going really well, they’re clean in their bedding and using puppy pads, and very soon they’ll start going outside to continue the process.
