Description
Klaus – 11-Month-Old Male White Shepherd Looking for an Active Forever Home
It is with a very heavy heart that we are considering rehoming Klaus due to changes in our family circumstances. This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and our priority is to find him the right home where he can continue to thrive and receive the time, exercise, and attention he deserves.
Klaus is an 11-month-old male White Shepherd. We have had him since he was 10 weeks old, and he has grown into a loyal, intelligent and affectionate companion.
About Klaus
11 months old

White Shepherd
Fully house trained
Vet registered
Up to date with flea and worming treatments
Insured
Crate trained from puppyhood
Temperament
Klaus lives with four children, ranging in age from toddlers to teenagers, and has always been gentle, loving, and trustworthy around them.
He has never shown aggression towards family members, friends or visitors. He is naturally aware of his surroundings and will notice when something unusual is happening, such as unfamiliar people entering areas of the garden, but he is not an overly guarding dog.
He is very affectionate, people-oriented and loves being part of family life. He forms strong bonds with those around him and enjoys plenty of attention and interaction.
Training
Klaus is intelligent, eager to learn and responds well to commands. He currently knows:
Sit
Down
Wait
Paw
Roll Over
Jump
Recall commands
His recall is good off lead and he will usually return immediately to a whistle or verbal command.
He has excellent impulse control and understands a release command before:
Eating his food
Leaving his lead
Running off during walks
He will wait patiently until given permission and will stop what he is doing if instructed.
Klaus has also always been tolerant around food and has never shown any food aggression. He is comfortable being handled while eating and has been used to children being around him during feeding times.
Exercise & Home Required
Klaus enjoys playing ball, exploring and being active. He would suit an owner or family who can provide regular exercise, continued training and plenty of engagement.
Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed significantly over the last year and we can no longer give him the level of activity and time outside the house that he deserves.
The Home We Want for Him
We are looking for a loving, permanent home where Klaus will be treated as part of the family. We are in no rush and would much rather find the right home than the first home.
He is a beautiful, loyal and intelligent dog with so much love to give, and we are absolutely gutted to even be considering this decision.
If you feel you could offer Klaus the life he deserves, please get in touch and tell us a little about yourself, your home and your experience with dogs.
