Unfortunately due to a change in career and personal circumstances I need to rehome my 3 chinchillas - Oreo, Marshmallow and Truffle.
Oreo and Marshmallow are both approx 3 years old and Truffle is just over 2 years old. Prior to me owning them, Marshmallow and Oreo were housed together as they were thought to be the same sex and had a baby (Truffle). Oreo and Truffle are males and Marshmallow is a female, however both of the boys have been neutered.
Truffle is missing a toe on his back foot, however this has had no lasting impact on him. All 3 chinchillas have been seen by a vet for a health check within the past year and have no known health problems.
They aren’t keen on being handled as most chinchillas aren’t, however they are quite happy to come out and jump over you in a safe and enclosed area. They are happy to take treats from your hand and will sometimes let you stroke under their chins. Since having them they have got 1000x more comfortable around people and so I think that will continue with their new home.
I would like them to go to an experienced home, where ideally they would be the only pet/have their own room as they have not been kept with other pets and it will stress them out. Homes with any children would not be suitable. I will only rehome the chinchillas to a home with just adults.
They will come with 2 cages - one of which I used as a travel cage when I would go away for short periods of time, the other is a more permanent cage. The permanent cage could use a bit of work to improve it, but overall it is fine for now. The cages have lots of ledges for them to climb and chew on, as well as 2 hammocks that they love to snuggle in. They will come with all food, toys and treats that I have for them, as well as 2 carriers to transport them. I do have an air con unit and dehumidifier that I can send with them for an extra cost.

The cost is not for the chinchillas, it’s for everything else that comes with them, I am open to negotiation on price if there is something that you would prefer not to take, but ideally I’d like it to all go together.
