Description

I am selling my almost two year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is very, very loved but it is just not working out. He needs to live in a busy household with at least two people and a good sized garden. Ideally with another dog for a playmate, but this isn't essential if the household is busy and stimulating enough otherwise. He is not a placid, lazy or calm Cavalier. His playing is very boisterous and involves a lot of barking and mouthing (painless, but for some reason he loves to gently have fingers in his mouth). I think he would be ok around children over 5 years old who don't mind the gentle mouthing, barking or being jumped up at! When he knows it's walkies time, he gets very excited and barks a lot. He lives for his walks! He gets very excited when approaching his favourite areas and can get excited when crossing roads. He loves other dogs and likes to greet them. He loves a cosy lap to sit on, but more than anything, he loves to run! He cannot be let off lead because he will run as far and as fast as he can. If he sees a cat/squirrel/bird on the way to chase and bark at, it would be the best day ever. Especially if he ends up in a muddy puddle at the end of it all. He is housetrained and neutered, and sleeps in a crate at night. He can be left in his crate for a few hours. He has a clean bill of health from the vet. Both parents were four years old with green CKCS heart scheme tests when they had him, plus all the standard DNA testing is clear. He is 8kg and very handsome. I am selling for £2000. This is because he cost £2500 as a puppy, he is kennel club registered, he is very healthy which is unusual for a cavalier, and I also want a serious, genuine buyer who will give him all the love he deserves. If you are patient, loving, willing to do a bit of training and have a busy household, please get in touch.
