For Sale: 16hh 5-year-old Thoroughbred gelding
Havvy is a very sweet-natured young horse with a genuinely kind temperament. I am new to horses and originally bought him to learn to ride on, but after discussions with professionals, we feel it’s in Havvy’s best interest to find a new home. He isn’t suited to carrying a complete beginner who is still developing balance.
Havvy would be best matched with a competent rider looking for a low-level riding club horse—someone who can bring out his full potential and provide the facilities he deserves.
He has been out in heavy traffic and hasn’t put a foot wrong. With the right person, Havvy will make a lovely riding horse and a wonderful partner.
I have plenty of photos and videos available, including ridden videos from when he was previously on sales before coming to me.
This sale is truly no reflection on Havvy—just a mismatch of abilities.
Price: £2,000 with newly fitted saddle (open to negotiation).
Would consider part exchange for an ex–riding school type: a steady, weight-carrying “plod” suitable for a complete beginner who is still unbalanced at times (I am having weekly lessons).
