Description
Genuine reason for rehoming.
Teddy is a beautiful, smart, loving, fun, friendly boy. He loves to be outside, even in the rain…and he dries off very quickly ! As I’m disabled, our house is quite chilled, my daughter takes him for one walk a day, and then he runs round the garden, then he’s chilled most of the day. So he would suit either a very active home, or chilled…but both needs lots of love! Also…speaking to him in baby talk is a must…especially if he’s tired! He will fall asleep sitting up if you talk to him in a quiet baby voice!
He loves people, and would suit a family or adults only, that can give him time, love and fun. Preferably not being left for long periods, as he gets anxious being left alone, which would benefit from training.
He’s very receptive to being trained using small training treats, and already knows the ‘Sit’ command.
He is an absolutely wonderful dog, with a great personality. Unfortunately, we’re having to rehome him due to my daughter not being able to cope with having him in our home. She’s autistic, and didn’t realise how much he would bond with her, and she gets very overstimulated very quickly. Thankfully, with him being 7 months, he adapts very quickly to a new home and family, taking only 2-3 days to settle in.
This decision has been so very hard, as we absolutely adore him, but I have to put my daughter’s mental health first.
New owners must have an enclosed, safe garden for him to run around in. And he’d do really great with one walk a day, but also we think he’s thrive being an outdoors dog that goes on hikes or muddy walks…which would means lots of baths/showers 😂
He is fully vaccinated up to date, microchipped, not neutered yet, as ideal time is between now and 12 months old. No medical issues, very healthy, happy boy.
