The rest of the litter have gone to their new homes and only Gollum and his sister remain.
Their parents, grand and great- grand parents can be seen. They have a mix of breeds in their ancestry including pedigree Turkish Van, Havana, Norwegian Forest Cat, Abyssinian and Domestic Short-hair.
Gollum is a very affectionate boy, he loves his cuddles and snuggling up in front of the fire. Very adventurous and into everything. He has a quiet rumbling purr.
Gollum has no fear of anything, he is a little cat with a huge personality. He is a sociable little chap and would fit into a multi-cat household with other sociable cats.
My kittens have fantastic temprements. They have a teddybear trait that when picked up they relax and hang on your arm like a Teddy bear. They are highly intelligent and can be taught commands and tricks. Gollum has the teddybear trait and has also inherited the water cat traits from his Turkish Van ancestors, as well as the seasonal coat. They don't continually moult but moult twice a year. They grow a thicker winter coat which they moult when their shorter, thinner summer coat comes through and moult again when their winter coat comes through. This doesn't mean that they are hypoallergenic because the allergy is caused by the saliva of the cat washing itself not the actual hairs. But because they are not continually moulting they tend to wash themselves a bit less and do not have as many hairballs.
MayMay is Gollums sister. She is a medium-long hair, satin coated. The satin coat gene gives them an extremely fine soft coat, similar in feel to a chinchilla. The hairs are highly reflective and shiny as well as extremely fine and soft.
Maymay is an independent little kitten and is happy doing her own thing and will come up for a cuddle when she wants one. She does not like being picked up unless asked politely and will grizzle her disapproval. She likes to come up for a snooze on a warm lap and likes to sleep next to you. She goes bonkers for a laser light.
