**About Rocket:**
4.5-year-old tricolour male Beagle, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Relocated from India 1.8 years ago with family. Well-socialized, house-trained, and crate-trained.
**Personality:**
• Friendly and loves meeting new people
• Great with children (lived with 5-year-old)
• Initially barks at visitors but quickly warms up
• Playful and expects play sessions twice daily
• Enjoys car rides and riverside walks
**Training & Behavior:**
• House-trained since puppy
• Crate-trained (sleeps in crate at night)
• Can be destructive when bored (chews clothes/plastic)
• Pulls on lead when distracted
• Can be let off-lead in secure areas
• Sometimes reluctant to give back stolen items
**With Other Animals:**
• Friendly with most dogs. Also he is afraid of big dogs like German Sheppard due to a past encounter, so he barks defensively when he sees one
• Doesn't like unfamiliar dogs jumping on him
• May chase cats (never lived with them)
• Untested living with other pets long-term
**Care Needs:**
• Fed Royal Canin twice daily (7:30 AM/PM). Also some times, we mix with chicken, eggs, and even veggies.
• Enjoys healthy snacks and treats
• Cannot be left alone for extended periods (max 30 minutes currently)
• He still acts like puppy with full of energy. Needs exercise & mental stimulation to prevent destructive behaviour (like chewing on socks, shoes, plastic, etc).
**Reason for Rehoming:**
Unable to find pet-friendly rental accommodation within budget when current lease expires. Also due to our personal circumstances we are returning to home country, and we thought UK is best place him to thrive.
He is stubborn, and yet so lovely.
To put simply we are just so heart broken, we raised him since he was 6 weeks old.
