RUNA and was abandoned in the middle of nowhere by some horrible unknown individual(s). Probably she became “excess to requirements” to a puppy farmer or to some kind of hunter - as she is not very prey driven ; she likes chasing rabbits and … cats, but she is desperate for human affection.
Somebody noticed her and called the dog-wardens who took her to a communal pound. You can see here some photos taken then - on the 12th of May. She was starving and was hardly able to walk.
The employees from the communal shelter microchipped her and estimated her date of birth in October 2017. However, we think she is younger that that… it is a common practice there to declare older ages - so they cannot be blamed for putting down young dogs. Another reason would be that she was very malnourished and looked older.
Anyway, RUNA recovered very well and she is a lovely dog - full of life and love.
We’ve had her fully vaccinated and we’ve also had her spayed.

Due to an on-going campaign against these poor foreigners (competing with the Irish and British Puppy Farmers !...), RUNA will have a comprehensive set of blood tests, before rehoming her - for everybody’s peace of mind.
Smart and well behaved, RUNA is very friendly with everybody, including children and other dogs.
RUNA is almost house/toilet trained now and she learns to walk on a lead.

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is compulsory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 to adopt a dog from our Rescue.
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be ! The dog(s) you adopt from our organisation will reside as a PET in your Home and will be well looked-after and loved !
Should you adopt a rescue dog from us - you will also agree to keep in touch with us - so we can help with any issues.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any / different price / donation for our rescue dogs or cats - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are not covering the costs !
We keep in touch with all adopters (more than 500 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide good references from any of them.
We receive a high number of pointless messages and calls and we do not afford wasting time…
So, Please, Please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
