Description

It breaks my heart to write this, but after many years of battling severe and worsening health issues due to cat allergies, I am looking to rehome my youngest cat, Pheebs. I have tried everything to make it work—including constant deep cleaning and running multiple air purifiers—but it has sadly taken too high a toll on my health. Because Pheebs has beautiful long black-and-white fur, I am highly sensitive to her dander. To manage my symptoms, I have even had to take her to a professional groomer. Pheebs dislikes being groomed and is perfectly capable of looking after her own coat, so this routine simply isn't fair on her. She deserves a home where she can just be a cat, and where her owner can give her all the close affection, attention, and cuddles that my health prevents me from providing. Age: 8 years old Personality: Pheebs is a sweet, gentle soul who loves attention on her own terms. She lets you know just how content and safe she feels by happily drooling when she is getting head scratches! The Perfect Environment: She strictly requires a calm, quiet household with no young children. Outdoor Habits: Pheebs likes to potter outside but is very timid due to an incident a couple of years ago. Because of this, she is incredibly safe and never wanders far—she stays strictly within our garden or the immediate neighbour's garden. **Viewings & Adoption Process** Please note that Pheebs is very shy around strangers and will almost certainly hide when you come to visit. To keep her stress levels low, we will not force her out of her safe space. However, I have plenty of lovely videos showing her relaxed, purring, and showing her true, affectionate personality at home to share with you. Because Pheebs means the world to me, I am vetting potential homes very carefully. **To finanse the adoption, the process will involve:** A Meet & Greet with her new family: A face-to-face to meet her new potential family and discuss your lifestyle and cat experience. Identity & Address Verification: I will require physical proof of ID and official utility bills matching the address where Pheebs will be staying, so I know you are who you say you are. Settling Updates: I kindly request that the new owner agrees to send me regular photo/video updates while Pheebs settles into her new environment so I know she is safe and happy. Rehoming Fee: There is a nominal rehoming fee of £150 to ensure Pheebs goes to a secure, dedicated home and to deter unethical enquiries. If you can offer a peaceful home, a secure garden, and the patience to let a shy cat blossom at her own pace, please get in touch and tell me a bit about yourself.
