Una's beginning was heartbreaking. Found at the Minsk high-kill shelter, she was considered unclaimed and unwanted - just another soul to be discarded. To those who made that decision, she was nothing more than an object, a problem without value. They wanted to end her life as if she had no heart, no feelings, no soul.
But we couldn't let that happen.
We chose hope for Una. We chose life. We saw beyond the harsh reality of that place. We saw a gentle, kind, and affectionate dog who deserves every chance to love and be loved.
Since being rescued, Una has blossomed. She is social and warm-hearted, eager to connect with people and make a new family of her own. Though she has been through so much, her spirit remains bright.
Una is fully vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, and has received all necessary medical care. She’s healthy, ready, and waiting for a home where she will never again be seen as “just a thing.”
