I need to urgently rehome my final male rat. His name is Hati, and his remaining brother passed away last night unexpectedly.
No known health issues other than being an old man - he's not much of a runner anymore, but he still climbs, eats well, drinks well, goes mental for treats.
His first brother Skoll died at 1.5y from some sort of respiratory issue, and his second brother Fenrir died sometime last night - from no noticeable issue other than...being old. It was a surprise - hence the emergency rehome so he isn't left alone.
He's very sweet, never bitten, super curious and always wanted to be messing about with things. He's gotten mellow as he's gotten older, but he's still very curious. He's not much of a cuddler, but can be easily held (with a few wriggles).
He is my most recent sweet little heart rat, he is a blue rex. He is prone to a few scratches and due to the rexiness he does look like he's been through a dishwasher backwards, but he's never had any issues.
Limited and old photos sorry - never been much of a picture-taker, but he's the sweet little blue top eared one in all these pics. He looks a little scruffier now, like a grumpy old man ❤ If bothered I can borrow a phone to take some current pictures. Just obviously in a rush to post this.
Unfortunately the new home will have to pick him up or be somewhere in Grimsby, cleethorpes, great coates or otherwise nearby. I do not have my own car so will be bribing my brother lol. For anyone interested I would very much appreciate seeing a picture of your setup and descriptions of your current rats, and any other info you wish to share, thank you!
If wanted, he will come with his spare bedding and some of his food. Carrier not needed, but welcomed!
He is such a sweet little guy, and although he's old and may not be here for tons longer, I know he has a lot of joy to give to someone with an extra spot in their mischief. Thank you so much to anyone interested ❤ Please ask any questions!!
