PLUTO is a calm, well-handled but not spoiled, tame & healthy, all up to date 9 months old Welsh A rescue gelding looking for a kind home.
Estimated to make around 11.2hh.
His dam came to the rescue as a supposed colt - unhandled, starved and in foal !! - after owners sadly died unexpectedly.
She made it, came right, got lovely tame & had an adorable fit & healthy foal i.e. Pluto.
Vets checked him out on arrival & still follow his progress.
Not been sick or sorry.
No known health problems.
Microchipped & passported (blue).
Wormed & vaccinated (flue & tetanus).
Feet trimmed kindly every six weeks.
Been gelded & six weeks has passed.
Been good for vet, farrier & trainer.
Easy to catch, put halter on & walk.
Just still to learn to be safe in traffic.
Field is next to busy road.
Was not bothered by fire works.
Usually so patient when tied up.
Normally good to load & travel.
Ready for more trips out to beach etc.
Fine to be brushed & fussed over.
Not been a biter, kicker or rearer.
Socialised with other foals/ponies.
Laid back so he got on great.
Been fine with old or young alike.
Colts, stallions &/or geldings.
Now mares & fillies too.
Should make an easy companion.
Well handled (not spoiled) from birth.
Lots of TLC, kind words & scratches. On purpose NO treats.
To prevent over-familiarization.
Calmer safer pony as a result.
Halter broke.
Was never stallion like.
In time make a lovely kids pony.
One your baby can grow up with.
Safer & likely save you lots.
Lead rein, 1st ridden or Pony Club.
