Description
This is Kobi.
He is roughly 9 months old and weighing 42kg.
We think he is a Cane Corso x Great Dane.
He needs a lot of training and unfortunately we don’t have the time or resources to train him efficiently.
We got him from another owner 2 months ago but was unfortunately fed lies so we had no idea of the amount of work, time and training needed. He has a lot of trauma which we have been learning as we have gone along for the past 2 months.
Kobi has moderate - severe separation anxiety, he cannot be left alone. He has been going to work with my partner in his van since we got him.
Kobi has early stage food aggression.
Kobi can be quite reactive with some dogs but can be okay with others.
Kobi has bitten a couple of times when triggered by something (we don’t know many triggers but we have noticed the odd few) and has drew blood once but it was only a puncture mark from one tooth.
On the contrary, Kobi is a playful, loving dog who loves to be around his owners. He is very loyal and very protective and would do anything for the people he loves.
Kobi is very smart and he is a quick leaner, he is very food motivated and loves to chase a ball.
Kobi’s recall isn’t great so he will need to be on a lead at all times.
Kobi can be quite anxious around new people and growls if he doesn’t feel secure.
We haven’t got any children so I’m not sure how he is around children but the previous owner had a 1 & 1/2 year old and said he was fine. We aren’t sure if this is true as he is very boisterous and isn’t aware of his own size.
Kobi is very strong and can pull on walks but he has gotten a lot better.
He has been living with our other dog a Cane Corso x Boerboel and they have got along fine.
He would ideally need to be the only dog in the home so he can have all attention on him to become the lovely dog that he has potential to be.
He will come with his XL Crate, his bed and blanket, his toys, his probiotics, his food, his lead, his harness and some of his favourite treats, grooming brush, dog shampoo etc.
He has had all his vaccinations, he is wormed and flea’d through a vet health care plan. He is also microchipped.
Please only serious enquires, we will be making sure that he is going to a good home. He will not be going to just anyone!
Preferably someone who has experience with big, complicated breeds.
