2 newly laying Rhode Rock (also known as: Black Rock/ Bovans Nera/ Black Pearl/ Miss Pepperpot) hens for sale. One has been laying for approximately 4 weeks, the other 3 weeks. Both have had their wings clipped. One is more black feathers, and the other has more golden feathers, and they need to go to a new loving home together. They are backyard chickens and will lay about 5 eggs a week each. They will be out in all weathers and are a hardy chicken. Unfortunately, due to family life, we are unable to keep this breed. They are not completely used to being handled, so they may require some time spent getting them used to it.
