Description
Buddy is 14 months old, KC registered from an excellent specialist breeder. He's a lovely boy with perfect markings that gets constant compliments. He is still intact, in very good health, up to date on vaccinations, flea and worming. He is very well socialised, amazing on long car journeys, very adaptable to staying in different accomodations, loves to play with other dogs and he has been brought up in a house with children and cats. Absolutely heartbreaking decision for our family and we need to make sure he goes to the perfect home, ideally where there is another dog and a big garden or field to play in. We stupidly thought we could cope with a large dog with a small garden but we realise it's unfair on him. Buddy knows lots of commands, sit, wait,go to bed, lie down, come, (heel still needs work) get toy or go get it to fetch/retrieve to you. He is always made to sit and wait for food, crossing roads or walking in or out of house and uses the command "ok" when it's ok to eat or go ahead etc. he is still a bit stubborn sometimes, a known trait of the breed, so his training must continue through his puppy stage. His lead walking is generally good with the help of a slip lead but he will occasionally pull and he is a strong dog so this needs to be taken into consideration. He's generally calm but gets over excited at certain times such as first thing in morning, when visitors arrive and when he wants to play with other dogs. He is crate trained and will happily take himself to bed at night when he's ready or if given the command bed, he is fully toilet trained and given the command "toilet' he will go if you need him to before bed or a trip. He's very affectionate and full of love and playfulness. He's also very good left in the house on his own but loves to be wherever you are when you're in the house. Owner needs to be aware of things he can swallow such as broken toys , socks and food left on counters. He knows the word off but if he wants to eat something, it will be gone in a flash so this needs working on. He will come with KC papers, vaccination record, flea and worming tablets, crate, toys, lead, bowls and any other bits and bobs I have.
Only serious people who can give him all the love, attention, consistent training and space to contact, as this has been a very difficult and painful decision.
