This is mango, he is around 3 years old, he is very loving and a fun bird but can also be a bit temperamental and territorial at times, he needs someone with lots of time and patience for him and definitely an experienced bird owner.
Mango is hand tame will step up onto your finger, he loves to have his head scratched and if you’re lucky you will get a cuddle, Mango can also speak many words and is a quick learner.
He eats any bird seed, loves apples!! I often give him a plate of lots of different fruit and veg and he can be quite cheeky and try to steal some of your food.
he doesn’t really play with toys but is definitely a chewer, loves cardboard and often nibbles at your fingers and nails.
the reason i am rehoming mango is because i feel like he needs more attention and someone who knows what they’re doing better than me.
Mango stayed with a friend once whilst i was away and did not like the other bird there at all (another conure) , he gets on with my cockatiel very well so i think with time he could possibly get on with another bird but would need very careful introductions, time and patience.
Mango also loves to bath very often but is very picky with the bowl he baths in 😂 he baths currently in a saucepan and he loves it, he will also dance to music.
