We are delighted to announce that our beautiful home bred Fox Red girl Molly is expecting her carefully planned, much anticipated first litter with Rigsby on 5th August. Molly is an amazing young lab. Everything you would expect from the working breed. She is Loving, loyal and stylishly put together with an athletic, compact conformation. She is very biddable with incredible drive and instincts true to her type and absolute pleasure to be around. She is impeccably bred by us, with many notable FTCH and IFTCH in her lineage, including Meditarian Blue, Waysgreen Apollo, Endacott Shelf and the Drakeshead Line. She is extensively Health Tested with the much coveted 0/0 hips and elbows, a recent unaffected eye exam and is also DNA hereditary clear for: Prcd-PRA CNM EIC SD2 And tested clear for: HNPK DM STGD MCD So any pups produced by Molly at any a time will be clear of these diseases too. Rigsby perfectly compliments Molly in every way, we have known him since he was a pup and watched him become the sweetest, most impressive boy. The pairing is an exciting one as not only are their temperaments perfectly matched, but their bloodlines align too as does their shared rich deep colouring. They have a breeding coefficient of 5.5% nicely below the breed average of 6.5%. Rigsby also has excellent breeding, with FTCH’s from the very well regarded Edenshot, Stauntonvale Drakeshead lines. He is strikingly handsome and athletic with a real presence and a wonderful character. He too is extensively health tested, he has 5/4 hips and 0/0 elbows with a recent unaffected eye exam and like Molly, is DNA hereditary clear and tested clear of many diseases, so their pups will have the very best start in life. (His health tests and DNA results can be found in his KC and Champdogs Bio). The pups will be lovingly raised within our family home with no expense spared. They will be nurtured from the outset using the ENS programme with the sole aim of creating well balanced pups by improving how they respond to stressors later in their lives. I will also be using sound desensitisation to get them used to loud household and environmental noises such as lightning and gun sounds for those who wish to work their dogs. This has proven very effective with previous labs bred by us. Molly and Rigsby are expected to produce a fabulous litter of pups together, beautifully rich and deep in colour with amazing temperaments and like our previous pups, will excel in any sphere including agility, therapy, canicross, as working gundogs and of course as much loved family members.
