🤎 Beautiful 2-Year-Old Chocolate Sprocker Looking for a Loving Home 🤎 This is an incredibly difficult decision for us, so finding the right home is much more important than rehoming her quickly. Our beautiful girl has just turned 2 years old. She is a gorgeous chocolate Sprocker Spaniel with a very loving, affectionate personality and lots of typical spaniel energy. She has grown up in our family around our young children and absolutely loves them. She’s a lovely dog, but unfortunately with work, family commitments and a busy household, we have come to the difficult decision that we aren’t able to give her the time and attention that she deserves. She would thrive with someone who has plenty of time for her, enjoys getting outdoors and can give her the exercise, attention and stimulation that a young spaniel needs. I want to be completely transparent about her behaviour when finding her new home. She can be protective of her food and her crate and may growl if approached around these. Because of this, we would ideally like an experienced dog owner who understands resource guarding and is confident managing it appropriately. Although she has grown up with and loves our children, we would consider a home without very young children preferable because of this behaviour. This is not a first-come, first-served rehoming. We want to get to know anyone interested, meet them and visit the home she would be living in before making a final decision. We won’t agree to somebody simply collecting her on the same day. If you’re genuinely interested, please send us a little information about yourself, including: • Who lives in your household • Your working arrangements/how long she would usually be left • Any other pets • Your previous experience with dogs, particularly spaniels • The type of home and garden you have • What sort of lifestyle you could offer her She is a much-loved member of our family, and she will stay with us for as long as necessary until we find somewhere that feels completely right for her. 🤎
