I took this parrot on as previous female owner has ill health
He has been well loved and was with her 35 years
I have had him a few months and to be honest as time gone on the bird has taken more of a dislike to me
I can do his food and water dishes and he has an amazing appetite with fruit and veg
Perfect feather condition and no obvious health issues
Unsure of the birdys sex
I am an experienced parrot keeper and have had a big blue and gold macaw for 20 years but I can not seem to get this beautiful baby to even look at me
When a male enters his area he lights up and is vocal and trying to get there attention and seems so happy
I am his main care giver and it's seems unfair that he will not bond with me as its depriving him of having affection
The parrot may be a girl but no dna test
He is around 40 years old and I have bought him a massive expensive cage full of toys and swings and a big java perch and have spoilt him
He has bit me 5 times and I get the feeling that we're not a good match which I'm devasted about

ideally no other pets and will let this baby have your attention 100% and he must have his cage door opened all the time he has stopped coming out the cage as he was coming out abit in the beginning
The cost covers his cage and toys nothing else
