This gorgeous girl has been returned to me through no fault of her own. Im now starting to look for the perfect home for her! Shes been with me for almost a week so heres her run down...
Shes 7 months old. Collie cross cocker (i no longer have mum here, but dad can be met)
Used to being left alone, uncrated for short periods of time (does not chew things she shouldnt)
Shes great overnight, toilet trained etc.
She doesnt jump up at people.
Shes been brought up around children, cats horses etc and is as good as gold with them.
Her basic house behaviour is perfect. She can sit on command but would need training for other obedience. She is desperate to please, im sure shell be easy to train.
Ive been told her recall is fab and in my garden she is perfect, however ive yet to let her off lead in public to confirm this - as shes come in season i will not be letting her off lead whilst she is with me.
She has mixed well with all my dogs but ive done slow introductions, i feel other dogs in the home would be fine provided they are more mature and a little calmer.
She is a little anxious due to a lot of recent changes in her life and due to this is occasionally showing nervous urination, this has already improved for me but would need a patient and understanding owner.
She was brought up in a quiet village and is anxious in busy areas ie walking round town etc I will work with her on this, but a quieter area would be ideal.
She has, today, started her first season and therefore will remain with me for 3 more weeks.
Im hoping her prospective new owner can visit a few times to bond with her prior to her leaving.
A spay contract will be placed on her, she must be neutered within 6 months.
This has to be a perfect, forever home for her so an experienced home would be preferred.
