Unfortunately we’ve made the sad decision to rehome our miniature dachshund named ‘Apple’. My partner bought her at 8 weeks old and she is now coming up to 3 years in December. We really do love her and would only consider the best home for her, we have 2 children which are 4 and 9 years old and also 2 other dogs so she’s used to being in a busy family home.
She unfortunately has some behavioural issues that she developed at around about a year old and have gotten worse over time so I feel it’s only right to give her home that could manage these. She barks at anybody who knocks on the door, also if you take her outside on the lead for a walk she will bark at other people and animals, even though she is friendly she comes across as being aggressive which she truly isn’t. I think she does it out of fear more than anything, I’ve tried to get her out of these behaviours but it hasn’t worked therefore I feel the best solution would be for somebody who has experience and feel like they could work with her on these issues.
She has been neutered, vaccinated, treated for flea and worms, microchipped and she’s also KC registered.
